Alfredo started his career with Winterthur Insurance and Winterthur International in Switzerland in claims and underwriting before moving to Zurich Insurance Company in 1999 covering roles as UK Casualty Manager, European General Insurance Casualty Manager, Head Technical Center Commercial Lines Switzerland and CUO Middle East and Africa.
He joined RSA in Dubai in 2011 as Underwriting, Claims and RI Director for Asia and Middle East and subsequently took responsibility for the underwriting function in Emerging Markets based out of London. In January 2015, Alfredo took the role of Group Liability Director with responsibility for the underwriting strategy and portfolio management in RSA and also held the interim role of CUO during 2018.
Alfredo made the move to Argo in March 2019 where he was Head of Europe and Middle East and the CUO for Europe, before leaving to join AGCS in 2020.
Swiss/Spanish nationality, married and one daughter, worked and lived in Switzerland, Spain, UAE and since August 2012 in the UK.
